Funders Funding Opportunities

Funder Feature: The Henderson-Wessendorff Foundation

Written by Lindsay Tooker

The Henderson-Wessendorff Foundation provides funding for charitable organizations to enhance or support efforts to improve the quality of life for present and future generations of the people of the greater Richmond, Texas area.

The Foundation’s directors have also chosen to focus on expanding quality, availability, and accessibility of mental health care in Fort Bend County.

The Foundation funds general operating, program, project, and capital grants of $10,000 or more. There is no deadline for funding, and organizations are typically limited to one request per twelve-month period. The typical grant process can take up to 8 months from application to decision.

Application portal access and further details can be found at https://hw-foundation.com/grants/.

Questions about eligibility can be directed to Senior Program Officer, Julie Gaston, at jgaston@hw-foundation.com.
