Houston Astros, AT&T SportsNet raise over $600,000 at Astros Charity Night

Written by Lindsay Tooker

The Houston Astros and AT&T SportsNet raised more than $600,000 at their Charity Night game September 9.

Fans could purchase one of several tiers of Charity Bags containing items like autographed memorabilia, Astros gear, and game and event tickets. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Astros Foundation, the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Houston, Kids’ Meals, and Uvalde Little League.

The Astros Foundation is the official 501(c)(3) team charity of the Houston Astros. They seek to harness the passion of their fans to support youth sports and education programs, the recognition/honor of our nation’s military, childhood cancer and domestic violence awareness, and efforts to reduce homelessness.
