The Association of Fundraising Professionals – Greater Houston Chapter will recognize individuals, charitable organizations, and businesses on November 11 for the 2022 National Philanthropy Day Awards.
Honorees include:

- Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser – Ann and John Bookout III
- Outstanding Community Service Organization – The Blue Bird Circle
- Houston Business Journal Corporate Philanthropy Award, Large Corporation – Pappas Restaurants
- Houston Business Journal Corporate Philanthropy Award, Mid-Size Corporation – Frost Bank
- Houston Business Journal Corporate Philanthropy Award, Small Corporation – Impact Fluid Solutions
- Outstanding Fundraising Program > $2M – The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center 80th Anniversary Celebration Committee
- Outstanding Fundraising Program < $2M – Houston Reads Day
- Byron Welch Award for Lifetime Achievement in Fundraising – Eloise Dunn Brice
- M. Anne Murphy Award for Professional Advancement – Linda K. Beeman, MBA, GPC
- Outstanding Fundraising Executive – Mark Folkes, CFRE
The Association of Fundraising Professionals – Greater Houston Chapter’s first National Philanthropy Day luncheon was held in 1986. Today, the event has grown to be one of the largest National Philanthropy Day celebrations in the country and the premier celebration of philanthropy and recognition of community volunteers in the Greater Houston area.
