CrossWalk Center, a Houston-based nonprofit which strives to stop the cycle of recidivism through seamless re-entry discipleship, will host its fall fundraiser luncheon, “Light Breaking Through,” on Thursday, Sept. 15, at the Junior League of Houston.

The luncheon coincides with the opening of CrossWalk Center’s first discipleship home for women a few months after the organization announced official plans to create a re-entry program specifically for females. The program offers ministry within prison walls before release, spiritual guidance and mentorship after release, and access to practical resources such as transportation and life skills training.
