Nominations open for Campeón de la Comunidad Award through August 24

The Houston Texans Foundation will recognize an outstanding leader in the Latino community with the Campeón de la Comunidad Award and a $20,000 donation to the nonprofit of their choice.

The Houston Texans Campeón de la Comunidad Award presented by Modelo honors an outstanding leader in the Latino community who is making a positive impact on the city of Houston through service and dedication to a local nonprofit. The winner will receive a $20,000 grant in their honor to the nonprofit of their choice. Two runners up will each receive donations in their name of $2,500 each. The winner and finalists will also be invited to attend a VIP reception in their honor.

Nominations close Monday, August 24th.

The mission of the Houston Texans Foundation is to be Champions for Youth. Through their fundraising efforts, they support and administer programs in education, character development, and health and fitness to empower the next generation of Texans.
